Double Dose of Mosack at Bristol

Updated: Mar 23, 2023

Mooresville, N.C. (September 12, 2022) - Bret Holmes Racing (BHR) announced today that Connor Mosack is scheduled to drive the No. 23 Nic Tailor Chevrolet in the ARCA Menards Series Sioux Chief Showdown 200, and the No. 32 Nic Tailor Chevrolet in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics at Bristol Motor Speedway this week.

Both events are scheduled for the same day at The Coliseum, marking Mosack and the Mooresville, N.C., -based team’s first same-day, double-duty driving experience of the season.

“I’m really looking forward to going to Bristol (Motor Speedway) this week for the ARCA (Menards Series) and (NASCAR Camping World) Truck Series races,” said Mosack. “I feel like running the ARCA race before will give me a lot of good experience and help me prepare for the Truck Series race. I’m confident both vehicles will be fast and competitive. The main thing for me is to run all the laps and gain experience at the track. I think if we can run all the laps and stay in one piece, we can be there at the end in both races and bring home good finishes.”

The Charlotte, N.C., native has competed in seven ARCA Menards Series races this season for BHR where he’s captured four top-five and six top-10 finishes. Mosack has led for 11 laps and maintains a 5.9 average starting position, coupled with a seventh-place average finishing position.

Mosack has also made one additional NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start for BHR during the 2022 season. He made his Truck Series debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in July where he started 11th. After running near the front of the field in the beginning stages of the race, Mosack suffered a mechanical failure and was unable to finish the race.

“Connor (Mosack) has proven he is more than capable of being competitive this season,” said Shane Huffman, crew chief for Mosack. “It’s been a lot of fun to work with him and watch him run up front this season. Our team is confident he’ll do well in both the ARCA (Menards Series) race and the Truck (Series) race at Bristol.”

The ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events are scheduled for Thursday, September 15th at Bristol Motor Speedway. Live coverage of the ARCA Menards Series race begins at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will follow with live coverage beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1.
